Important Information for Our Customers
CHECKLIST FOR EU CUSTOMERS - Document Requirements
Due to increased document requirements, the German tax office now requires the following documents and information from us for exports to EU member states:- 1. Complete and exact company address, telephone number, fax number, email address, specification of business sector/industry, and if available, website, business card, etc.
- 2. European VAT identification number.
- 3. Extract from the commercial register, trade license, or other official company proof (e.g., through the chamber of commerce) in copy.
- 4. Copy of the passport of the company owner or managing director, and
- 5. If they do not personally collect the goods, a signed authorization/power of attorney from them, preferably with a company stamp, for the collecting driver.
If no documents can be provided that clearly confirm the entrepreneurial status and authorization of representation, we will charge a deposit.
The deposit amount will be refunded as soon as you submit the aforementioned documents at a later date.
